H) New character Dreamwidth journal (if already created):

I) Physical description (face, build, weight): 5'6", 120 lbs, red hair, blue eyes.
J) Abilities: Speed Force Conduit: . Speed Force is a vaguely defined extra-dimensional energy force from which most superspeed-powered heroes draw their powers. The Speed Force serves as the ultimate measure of velocity in the DCU. They are often referred to in terms of barriers: Sound barrier, Light barrier, Time Barrier, Dimensional Barrier, and finally the Speed Force Barrier. Iris is said to be a living conduit of the force and has potential of mastering it at a level that rivals that of her father.
Superhuman Speed: . At first, Iris could only manifest her ability by being able to vibrate her molecules through solid objects. As she got older, she is now capable of traditional super speed and can move at high velocities but still not as fast as her father because of her young age.
Phasing: . Before gaining real super-speed, this was Iris' primary ability. Being able to vibrate her molecules at just the right frequency in order to become intangible and pass through solid objects.
Speed Force Aura: . Like most speedsters, Iris has an invisible aura that protects her and anyone who is running with her or carried by her, from the effects of using her speed. This includes friction and airborne particulate matter.
While not a genius, Iris is very intelligent for her age.
K) Weaknesses and flaws: As Iris is still young, she as not reached her full potential power wise. Iris is also, as her codename might tell you, very impulsive, and has a tendency to look before she leaps. Being a speedster, Iris has the urge to everything fast, and has a short attention span at times.
She has been occasionally known to run into walls.
L) Base of operations: Keystone City/Titans Tower
M) Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero
N) Relatives (living or dead): Wally West (father, living), Linda Park-West (mother, living), Jai West (fraternal twin brother, living), Iris West-Allen (great-aunt, living), Barry Allen (great-uncle, living), Bart Allen (cousin, though she calls him Uncle Bart), Jay Garrick (adopted uncle, living), Joan Garrick (adopted aunt, living), various other adopted aunts and uncles in the superhero community.
O) Backstory: Iris the youngest of Wally West and Linda Park-West's twins, her brother Jai beating her into the world by three minutes. Although the twins were initially miscarried as the result of an attack by Zoom, Linda's pregnancy was miraculously restored during a later battle.
As a child, Iris grew up hearing about the exploits of her father as the Flash, and was overjoyed when she found out that her father really was the Flash. As her father had ties to quite a few of the various superhero teams, Iris and Jai grew as part of the "second generation" of heroes, and although her parents said they could be whatever they wanted, Iris longed to go into the family business, and tried many times to "tap into" her connection to the Speed Force. Though this mostly resulted in her running in circles around the house until she got very dizzy.
When Iris and Jai did tap their into powers, she was overjoyed, and Wally, seeing that his daughter was going to be a handful, began to teach Iris how to use her powers, and how to control them. When Iris turned fourteen, she began don the mantle of Impulse and "just happen" to appear alongside her father when he'd go on patrol. Though Wally tried to discourage Iris from heroing at young age, he allowed her to accompany him, but would always send her home if things got too messy.
Recently, Iris has become a more seasoned and a little bit more mature of a superhero. Keeping the mantle of Impulse, she's joined the Teen Titans, where she knows a several of its current roster, as some of them are good friends.
